Founding Chairperson
Equestrian Society
Alan Denis Munro

Many years back, Alan D Munro, was a motor-sport nut; from selling ice-cream on race days, to managing a race track and everything in-between.  Alan has been around the motor-sport block. In the 90's with SA Phillips and SHELL South Africa as 2 of his sponsors and the holder of two 120 hour DJ and Broadcasting records, Alan was the Pioneer that broke open radio in SA and the driving force behind SMaRt-FM.

He then started to help the owners of the Westlake Equestrian Centre on the West Rand for 14 months and was the driving force behind the ‘ALL ages Derby’ at the end of 2006, he moved to Mnandi and helped Fourways Riding Centre in 2007.

In this time Alan and Kyly created "Hony's WebStable" and 34 months down the road it is the hottest website around. If you don’t believe it, go do a "Google search for the word “Hony" and see where the name is listed.

(Results 1 - 10 of about 1,120,000 for hony (0.17 seconds)) that is on the world search, do the same on the SA search (Results 1 - 10 of about 474 for hony. (0.15 seconds)). He's name is #1 every time.

With this background, Alan has now started a new society for the horse World. As the founding Chairperson Alan D Munro has set up the "Equestrian Society" and the website is up and running at www.equestriansociety.org  Alan is work on getting the NPO registration done for the society and then will get the bank account set up.

To prevent all the good friends that have been on Hony's mail list getting 2 newsletters each week it has been decided that "Hony" will be the marketing arm of the "Equestrian Society " and he will still run his WebStable.
