Comments from the Show.

Hi Alan

I just want to thank you for a lovely show. I really liked the 3 judge idea - it was interesting to see how differently they judged, I hope other showing shows follow suite. Also the prize money was a real great bonus, it is the first time ever that there has been prize money in a showing show - thanks. The only comment I would like to make, is that in future you should ask professional photographers to come along, so we can get photos - when showing you never get a chance to take proper photos.

Thanks once again, for a great show.

Regards

Sandy Weber

Comments on the show past.....

Thank you for a very refreshing show, it is great to have the horse at the center of attraction and the vibe was extremely friendly. As a breeder, I'd like to have a shop window for my youngsters and the point system at your shows gives everyone a more equal chance and a small breeder / horse owner can also be competitive without putting so much pressure on our "loved ones". May you go from strength to strength and the horse come out tops!

Best wishes

Equestrian Society International Showing Show

On Sunday we were up at 4am to make our boys Bailie and Peri look good for the Equestrian Society International Showing Show. We had to leave home at 6am to get to Pretoria by 8am. Both boys loaded like super stars and we were off. We got to the show grounds at 10 to 8 - pushing it a little, considering we still had to do the finishing touches. Fortunately the show was running late, shame the electricity cable was stolen, so we were ready on time for our classes. First in was Peri in the in hand stallion class - Kayla had to show him, because with my foot in a cast I could not run

Peri was a super star, and won his class - we won money - first time ever. Next was Bailie's class, poor Kayla had to run again. Bailie did really well, and he won his class, yippee!!! he also won some money. So we had two firsts, and covered our costs and then some, what a pleasure. The show was a great idea, there were 3 different judges, so your points were added together from all the judges and the highest score won. I thought that was a great concept, so there was no favouritism. Our trip home was very long, the usual, an accident on the freeway, but both boys were really good, and got home safely. Once out of the box and back in their paddocks, they both had a good roll and were happy to be dirty again.

This is thanks to "Neigh-Bours"
